Staff Professional Standards

Professional Standards are used to set the knowledge, skills and attributes expected of particular roles. SchooliP includes a large number of professional standards e.g. Support Staff, Teaching Assistants, Teacher and Headteachers.

Both the staff member and the line manager can collaborate and provide a performance rating on an individual member of staff. This rating initiates professional discussions about strengths and areas for development. As a result, target setting is well informed in review meetings and throughout the appraisal process.
