GDPR

At Derventio Education we are fully GDPR compliant to all the latest requirements.

Our review process has seen us update our various policies and we have undertaken a full review of our procedures with GDPR In Schools.

As an education supplier that maintains data, we wish to show our customers our own GDPR compliance via data mapping of our products and providing the necessary information. With the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliance deadline approaching (Friday 25th May), we thought it would be helpful to answer a series of questions for our customers relating to our iP software suite ( SchooliP, CollegeiP and UniversityiP ).

What Personal Data does iP suite store?

The following personal data is stored in the iP suite for registered users.

  • First Name
  • Surname
  • Initials
  • E-Mail Address (Optional)
  • Job Title (Optional)
  • Reports to (Optional)
  • Photograph (Optional)
 

Where is it stored?

The iP suite is stored on secure servers hosted by OVHCloud in the UK.

How is the data transmitted?

Data is transmitted via encrypted https protocol.

How long is it stored for?

This data is stored for the duration of your subscription to your iP product and backed up in accordance with the iP suite Terms and Conditions.

When will it be deleted?

Upon discontinuation of your subscription, the data will be kept for a period of 6 weeks. This is to either allow you to access any data you may require after your subscription lapses or if you decide to re-subscribe.

How is it deleted and by whom?

The data will be deleted by removing it from the iP suite database using an administration tool accessed only by a technical senior manager within the company.

Who will have access to the data?

Data will only be accessed by iP suite authorised personnel in the event of investigations being required as a result of contacting our support desk with queries or questions regarding the software.
