IP Newsletter February 2025

Customer Success Team

Welcome

Welcome to the February edition of the SchooliP newsletter! This month, we’re focusing on the transformative power of interim reviews in teacher development.

Interim reviews are more than just check-ins—they’re opportunities to evaluate progress, address challenges, and make meaningful adjustments before the academic year concludes. Unlike traditional high-stakes reviews, regular interim reviews foster a balanced, supportive, and growth-oriented approach to professional development. In this issue, we’ll explore how SchooliP simplifies the interim review process, making it less stressful and more efficient for both teachers and appraisers.

Finally, don’t miss our Partner Focus on Aspire:ED Schools, an innovative on-demand CPD platform designed to elevate physical education, sports, and physical activity in schools.

Let’s continue fostering growth, collaboration, and success—together!

Warm regards,

The iP Suite Team

Feature Focus

Interim reviews are check-ins or assessments designed to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and make timely adjustments before the end of the academic year. Unlike a single high-stakes review, regular interim reviews provide a more balanced and supportive approach to professional growth. They foster a culture of continuous improvement, enabling teachers to reflect on their practices, receive constructive feedback, and implement changes in real time. This iterative process not only enhances teaching effectiveness but also contributes to a more dynamic and responsive learning environment for students.

We are continuously making improvements to iP to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience.

Updated Login Page: We have improved the interface when logging into SchooliP with clearer buttons and new branding.

Update SSO: Redone the UI (User interface) on these pages and made it easier to understand when going through the process of setting up single sign-on.

Password/Login Check Update: We have updated the messages staff will get if their account is inactive or locked. We have also simplified the password reset process.

Monitoring Forms: You can now add lesson period into the header, and set which lesson you are observing.

Changes to Objectives: You can now disable the performance criteria and evidence tab, performance criteria used to be mandatory fields.

New Status for CPD: This is the delivered status, which lets you indicate when the staff member has delivered the CPD course. Instead of having to set the status as either attended or not attended.
