Derventio Education and MacMartin recently partnered on a project to enhance the user experience (UX) of Derventio’s website, ensuring it reflects the high standards that Derventio brings to the education sector. Building on Derventio’s recent brand refresh, the two teams collaborated to create a website that is intuitive, impactful, and true to the brand.
MacMartin’s UX specialist, Claire MacDonald, led the initiative with a detailed competitive analysis, examining industry websites to identify strengths and gaps in the market. This research laid the groundwork for a unique strategy designed to set Derventio’s website apart from competitors. Claire then mapped out a user journey specific to Derventio, addressing current challenges and optimising the flow to create a seamless experience for users.
The project also included an in-depth review of the site’s architecture and navigation. MacMartin’s recommendations provided a refined site structure that enhances clarity and flow, helping users find essential information with ease and confidence. Key page layouts were proposed to prioritise Derventio’s brand message and to create a visually engaging experience.
With the design mockups from MacMartin as a foundation, Derventio’s team crafted a bespoke website solution that not only integrates with their systems seamlessly, but also captures the brand’s forward-thinking approach and dedication to educational excellence. The result is a fresh, user-centric site that truly represents Derventio.
