OVERVIEW
Derventio Education provides a comprehensive content management system for SCONUL (Society of College, National and University Libraries). This is achieved on our Celsus solution where we have created a member login area that allows professionals to work together on a secure platform. Ideas can be exchanged and collaboration networks are immediately formed.
INTEGRATION WITH CELSUS
Developed in partnership with SCONUL, the new website integrates with the Celsus CMS which allows members of SCONUL to easily complete tasks such as adding events, publishing newsletters, posting job vacancies and more all from one system. These features are also made clear on the front-end of the website for SCONUL members and site visitors to see.
ABOUT SCONUL
SCONUL is the professional association for academic and research libraries in the UK and Ireland. Their members range from research-intensive institutions to specialist higher education providers. Their wonderful national libraries are lynchpins of the SCONUL community which also includes libraries holding important national collections.
They speak for this diverse membership with a single voice on the strategic issues facing the sector, advocating for the value and importance of libraries in teaching and learning, in the research process; in student success and in delivering our institutions’ innovation and engagement agenda, for example in the drive for equality, diversity and inclusion and on sustainability.
We recently moved our website over to Derventio Education and found the process very smooth. Our site looks very modern and is very responsive. Both Umbraco and the Celsus platforms have been easy to use. Derventio have been very helpful with regards to our development needs and we have enjoyed building our site with them.
