Before syncing, ensure your MIS is up to date:
Delete old staff and add new staff directly in your MIS.
iP will automatically draw updated information from the MIS during the sync.
Note: All changes must be made in your MIS first - iP reflects data from your MIS, not the other way around.
Once your MIS is updated:
Go to Users & Groups in iP.
Navigate to Staff Management.
Click on Sync Data to update iP with the latest staff information from your MIS.
To configure your sync preferences:
Go to Users then to Staff Management.
Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
Select MIS Settings from the menu.
Setting | Function |

Restore staff from the inactive list | Reactivates staff who were marked as inactive in iP but are still active in your MIS. |
Allow the line manager to be changed | Enables editing of line managers via the user profile or reports. |
Allow job titles to be changed | Allows users to manually update their job titles (e.g., change from Classroom Teacher to Maths Teacher) |
Only import teacher records | Restricts import to only those listed as teachers in your MIS job title section. |
