A monitoring item can be any type of follow-up related to an activity, such as a meeting to review progress. When a monitoring activity is assigned to a staff member, they will receive notifications near the date you’ve specified.
Navigate to the Development Plan
Go to the development plan where the activity is located.
Add the Activity to an Objective
Select the relevant objective.
Add the activity to it.
Save your changes.
Edit the Activity
Return to the objective and click the edit pencil.
Locate the activity you just added.
Click edit on the activity.
Add a Monitoring Item
Go to the Monitoring tab.
Click “Click here to add new item.”
Enter a description of the monitoring item in the free text field.
Assign a Staff Member and Date
From the dropdown, select the staff member responsible for this monitoring.
Specify the due date for when the monitoring should be completed.
Save the Monitoring Item
Once the staff member and date are added, the status of the monitoring item will become available.
Click Save to confirm.
