Join us for a practical and inspiring session with Claudia Boerescu, Director of Teaching and Learning at Newham College, as she explores how teacher-led experimentation can elevate teaching practice, strengthen professional learning, and drive innovation across the organisation.
This session will share the journey of educators at Newham College, from self-evaluation against professional standards to designing and implementing their own pedagogical experiments. These initiatives have focused on enhancing learner outcomes through innovative approaches to teaching and learning, the use of digital tools, and meaningful collaboration between teachers and students.
You’ll gain actionable insights into how structured experimentation can foster a culture of reflection, ownership, and professional growth. Whether you're a leader, mentor, or practitioner, this session will offer practical strategies for embedding innovation into everyday practice and building a shared commitment to excellence.
