Overview

All Saints’ Academy Cheltenham is an 11–19 Church of England secondary school serving the south-west of Cheltenham and its surrounding communities. Established in 2011 with modern, purpose-built facilities, the Academy welcomes students of all faiths and none, reflecting its mission to be a Church school for the whole community. The school serves a diverse student body and is firmly rooted in its local context, working closely with families, parishes, local organisations, and regional partners to provide a supportive and aspirational environment for young people.

The Academy places strong emphasis on inclusion, personal growth, and a broad, balanced curriculum. Its ethos is grounded in Christian values such as compassion, respect, reconciliation, and service, which shape both the culture of the school and the day-to-day experiences of its students. All Saints’ aims to help every learner discover and develop their unique talents, offering a rich academic and vocational programme complemented by wide enrichment opportunities. “We are using the monitoring process to support teacher feedback, which links into the teacher portfolio to drive appraisal. We are beginning to use the reports function more frequently to capture progress trends. We are also able to record coaching records and appraisals all in one place. The reports from the monitoring give data on the development of the key teaching techniques we are seeking to improve as a school.”

Supporting Teacher Workload & Well-Being

“As teachers become more confident in using SchooliP, this is helping to consolidate their development records in one place. We have not done this coherently previously, so this feels like an increase in workload temporarily, but it will improve in time. SLT analysis of progress is much faster because of SchooliP. Staff receiving regular positive feedback through SchooliP has helped to improve confidence and self-efficacy. The use of SchooliP has inspired a more rigorous approach to line management, which means that all staff are having more regular developmental and supportive conversations.”
