Liz been working in education for 25+ years now. First as a secondary school English teacher in an inner-city comprehensive, and since then in educational programmes, professional development, and digital publishing. "I was Head of Content at Optimus Education for nearly 10 years, a role which gave me knowledge and insight into all kinds of aspects of school life". She is now the proud owner of Creating Value In Schools.

The platform offers a “Need to Know” feed with concise weekly updates on education policy, research, and news, particularly focused on school practice in England. For a small fee, readers gain full access to these updates and receive timely alerts. In addition, the site hosts a blog where leaders and practitioners reflect on issues such as sustainability, financial pressure, wellbeing, and innovation in schools.
