Documents settings

The settings page, located within the document tab, appears as a toggle on the right side of your computer screen.

Settings include:

Show documents in Staff Portfolios: 
When enabled, this will make the documents tab visible in all staff members’ portfolios, when turned off the document will only be visible by the administrator. Allowing them to add documents to their portfolio and create folders to organise their documents.

Staff members can then link their folder to a document type.

Document Types:
Document Types allow you to categorise documents, making it easier to quickly filter and locate all documents of a specific type. 

Document types can be added in the settings. Document types in a trust will be seen by the school in the trust, and can be used, but can not be edited by the schools. 

Document types can be colour coded, for easy access.

Document types can be made inactive by deselecting the ‘Active?’ field within the edit item at any time.
