BRAVOLesson -
Plans for the future

Our partnership with Successful Schools was founded in the Spring of 2017. We are fortunate to enjoy a very positive working relationship with our Swedish partner, Mats Rosenkvist. In conversation with Mats, we discussed our partnership, recent developments and plans for the future. Initially, Mats spoke of how our performance management software SchooliP is adapted to serve the Scandinavian market.

We have had great support since we partnered up with Derventio in late Spring 2017. Our joint understanding of education and EdTech made it easy in a short time create the BRAVOLesson solution based on the functionality in SchoolIP. Both the management and staff at Derventio are very knowledgeable and supportive and this has made it possible for BRAVOLesson to be implemented into many schools and local authorities already.

Following the successful development of the BRAVOLesson platform, a bespoke lesson observation service is now soon to be offered.

We have teamed up with experts, consultants and a professor who all specialise in lesson observations. Together, we will offer remote video observations for teachers and schools across Sweden. Following an initial meeting, two of our experts will carry out lesson observations sitting in their office. After each observation they will provide individual feedback via BRAVOLesson and Skype. This is another means of raising awareness of the BRAVOLesson platform and participants receive unprecedented expert advice to help raise the standard of their teaching.

Mats is not only looking to enhance the performance of individual teachers, In the Autumn of 2018, a guide on how to implement systematic processes to improve teaching in a school, multi-academy trust or local authority was launched. This has been very well received throughout Sweden.

Our guide has been extensively downloaded and we now have a flagship local authority that uses BRAVOLesson as tool for all their headteachers and teachers. Their strategic plan for implementation was inspired by our guide.

2019 will see the launch of the BRAVOLesson mobile app and BRAVOLesson Analytics in January. Both of these features will make BRAVOLesson even stronger and enable schools to systematically improve the standard of teaching.

We will continue to use our guide as a means to help schools, MATs and local authorities to improve their process and teaching with BRAVOLesson. We are also in the process of starting marketing activities to sell our software into the other Nordic countries.

Our partnership with Successful Schools is proving to be very beneficial and we are delighted that our software is helping to benefit teacher development overseas.
