Form Types help organise monitoring forms, making it easier to manage and access data in reports. Using Form Types, you can:
Organise forms into clear sections within a staff member’s portfolio
Create separate report sections under My Reports
Exclude specific forms from the main Monitoring Report
Go to My Reports and select Monitoring from the drop-down menu.
Click the Settings icon.
Choose the Monitoring Type section.
Click Add Form.
Enter a Title (required) and, if you like, add a Description.
Exclude from the main monitoring report?
Tick this box to prevent forms of this type from appearing in the main Monitoring Report.
Create a separate report under My Reports?
Tick this to create a separate section for these forms in the My Reports menu.
Create a separate tab in the portfolio?
Tick this to add a new tab in each staff member’s portfolio for these forms. This will also remove them from the main monitoring section.
Form Types can be applied to both new and existing forms:
Open the Add/Edit Form screen.
Select the appropriate Form Type from the Type dropdown.
Click Save.
Once assigned, the form will follow the settings defined by its Form Type, making it easier to organise and report on monitoring activity.
