As Derventio Education’s training manager I spend time each week helping out new and existing customers get used to areas that they might not be familiar with and explaining the new features within our software. My main aim is to help customers to maximise their use of the software and all of the benefits it provides.

I oversee the development of support materials including manuals and help sheets. I also work very closely with our support team to ensure that our customers are getting the most from the system.

Over the last two weeks I have been very busy speaking to schools from Merseyside, Devon, Cheltenham, Hampshire, Rochdale, Manchester and Berkshire.

I've had great feedback from attendees of the sessions this month with people commenting on how my training sessions are very clear, friendly, effective and informative.

I've thoroughly enjoyed training customers on the new version 8 of the software this month. The new version has been well received and customers have been excited by the new look and feel, as well as the new functionality, all of which aims to make their life easier. I'm looking forward to holding some more sessions in the coming weeks.

Both online and onsite sessions have been popular. This Thursday I have been in Dorset, and have several planned online sessions in Manchester and Hull later on in the month.
