On May 25th we’re taking part in the CLIC Sargent Wig Wednesday event to raise money to fund vital services to support children and young people with cancer, and help their families in difficult times.
We will be taking part in a range of fund raising activities on the day to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause. If you would like to get involved we have listed some useful information and links below.
Who are CLIC Sargent?

What is Wig Wednesday?
Wig Wednesday is one big day when the UK unites to show its support and raises vital funds for children and young people with cancer. Anyone can wig out anywhere, with colleagues, friends or even at school! You can donate a wig yourself and get wiggy with all of the team at CLIC Sargent, or nominate a Hair-o to wig you all day and you pledge a donation!
Resources for Teachers
Falling behind with school work and losing touch with school friends is often a big concern for children and young people diagnosed with cancer. Your school can help a child or young person get the best education fitted around their needs, and minimise isolation from school and friendships. If you would like advice and support, you can access a range of resource provided by CLIC Sargent here.
CLIC Sargent have a range of useful resources for schools, colleges and universities to get onboard and raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
CLIC Sargent has a range of curriculum-linked lesson plans with links to Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 and first, second, third and fourth level of the Curriculum of Excellence in Scotland to help encourage pupils and students of all ages to help children and young people with cancer.
